One question though, I'm a real Swedish pancake traditionalist. I keep wondering if they also serve them with lingonberry jam. I really love Swedish pancakes but I don't think I could eat them without the lingonberry jam ( and butter of course!) That's part of what makes them Swedish for me!
Funny, Diane! I too was surprised that it was Vermont maple syrup and not lingonberry, but went for them anyway. I recall IHOP had it (though probably artificially flavored)? Haven’t been there in a while, lol!
I always thought the best thing IHOP had was their Swedish pancakes! And I'm pretty sure it was just real lingonberry jam, which always surprised and impressed me
